The Walter L. Cohen Alumni and Friends are committed to fostering a, intergenerational network centered on connection, support, and growth. Drawing inspiration from the proud legacy of Walter L. Cohen High School, focus on strengthening relationships among alumni, current students, families, and community partners, ensuring every young person we serve feels valued and supported. 

 

 Our mission emphasizes uplifting underserved students who encounter systemic barriers and unique challenges. We believe talent is universal, but opportunity is not, and we aim to bridge that gap by offering mentorship, academic guidance, career exposure, and access to resources that enable each student to realize their full potential.   

 

 Through consistent engagement and personalized support, we help students build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging that will carry them into adulthood.

 

Philanthropy and community partnerships are integral to our efforts. We mobilize alumni, local leaders, and supporters to address the specific needs of our students, providing essential supplies, enrichment opportunities, scholarships, and leadership development.
