Making A Difference:
Making a difference in the education of Black children starts with a simple belief: every child deserves high expectations, strong support, and access to opportunity. There isn't one solution, but there are many ways individuals, families, schools, and communities can help.
For Parents and Families
Read with children regularly and encourage a love of learning.
Celebrate academic achievement as enthusiastically as athletic or entertainment success.
Advocate for children's needs at school and maintain communication with teachers.
Expose children to diverse books, careers, and role models.
